To alleviate poverty, reduce unemployment and create opportunities for Youth Enterprise and Empowerment through Skills
Training and small business start-ups.
To provide a platform for the emancipation of women through community based ventures and business skills acquisition and
training.
MAIN AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF LIVING HOPE ASSOCIATES
1. To empower young people (YP) with hope through training and enterprise
2. To give the Youth a bright future through Skills Acquisition(SA)
3. To create a platform for Young Entrepreneurs (YE) to source local and international markets for their products/goods.
4. To provide a basis to help the Youth set up and own small to medium enterprises (SMES’)
5. To coordinate and work with regional youth organizations to form a synergy in order to provide access to capacity building through
exchange, transfer and development of skills.
6. To provide a clearing house for Youth in Development (YID) to enable them produce, manufacture and supply goods and services
to their communities.
7. To create an avenue for the Youth to build sustainable enterprises and break the unemployment mold.
8. To give back to the communities by providing opportunities for greatly disadvantaged Youth to acquire skills, find gainful
employment and raise godly family units all across the region.
9. To encourage self-initiative projects to develop communities and alleviate illiteracy and poverty through training innovation
programs seeking new talent and expertise.
10. To provide a foundation for ethical business principles and fair trade for the Youth and their local communities through education
and moral guidance.
11. To create opportunities for the Youth to travel regularly with the aim of promoting and setting up Youth Development (YID)
centers across the region.
12. To enhance and broaden Youth Participation Activities (YPA) in social, economic and religious enterprises.
13. To generate income from YID enterprises and trade in order to create a financial base for credit facilities for disadvantaged Youth.
14. To develop a culture of creativity, productivity and profitability for sustainable youth projects and enterprises in the short and long
term.
